Disappoionted by the 'thermal' river in Reykjadalur in Iceland (too shallow and cold compared to Landmannalaugr,) I decided to press further inland and hike the entire way to Thingvellir, and I found a semi-abandoned trail that lead me through lands I'd only seen in Skyrim. It was totally worth it.
