Luggage storage at St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. Need advice.

Hi guys, I am heading to the Vatican straight from the Rome airport, with a 24 inch suitcase.I already booked the tickets for the museum (entry at noon time by the way). My question is: after visiting the museum, should I head back to the cloakroom at the museum entrance to get the suitcase before moving on to St. Peter's?
